ARTICLE 1: ACCEPTANCE AND MODIFICATION OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE

The General Terms and Conditions of Use of the Platform (hereinafter the “GTC”) are intended to define the conditions of access and use of the Platform and its Services. Any use of the Platform and the Services implies the prior, express and unreserved acceptance by the User of the GTC. The User is informed and acknowledges that by clicking, when creating his Customer Account, on the “Registration” button preceded by the words “I have read and accept the General Terms and Conditions of Use”, he is bound by all the provisions of the GTC. La régence reserves the right, at any time, to refuse access to the Platform, unilaterally and without prior notification, to any User who does not comply with these GTC. The User is informed that the GTC of the Platform may be modified at any time, unilaterally by La régence in order in particular to comply with any developments in its Services or any legal, jurisprudential, editorial and/or technical developments. The regency undertakes to inform the User of changes made to the Services and/or the T&Cs by email or by means of a special notice displayed on the Platform. The T&Cs applicable to each Order placed on the Platform are those accessible online at the time of acceptance of the Order by the User and attached to the Order confirmation email received by the Buyer.


The User is reminded that it is their responsibility to consult the latest version of the T&Cs accessible on each page of the Platform before placing any new Order.

ARTICLE 3 – CONDITIONS AND MODALITIES OF ACCESS TO THE
PLATFORM

3.1. General information
The Platform is accessible free of charge to any User at the address "www.laregencelille.com". The User must have access to the Internet. All software and hardware necessary for the use and operation of the Platform Services, or access to the Internet are the responsibility of the User. He is solely responsible for the proper functioning of his computer equipment and his access to the Internet.
The purchase of Products is subject to payment in accordance with article
“financial provisions” of these Platform T&Cs.

Any User may access, consult or use all or part of the Platform. Any User may also subscribe to the La Régence newsletter.
To be able to purchase Products on the Platform, the User must be:
a natural person, aged 18 or over and, more generally, having the capacity to contract; a legal person, whose person authorised to represent it must state: valid information relating to its identity (surname/first name), its company name, its SIRET or identification number, the address of its head office, its telephone number and its email address.

ARTICLE 4: ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GOODS
AND SERVICES OFFERED

The products offered on the La Regence website and whose distance selling is governed by these general conditions of sale have the following essential characteristics:

● Products concerned: the name, components, weight, quantity, color, as well as the particularities are specified for each of the products on the La regence website. All of these elements are included when the order is placed by the buyer. In any event, the presentation photos of the products offered on the La regence website are not contractual, and cannot engage the seller's liability with regard to the buyer.

Buyers' attention is drawn to the fact that the illustrations of the items presented may be enlarged, and that the mention of a magnification scale is impossible, the internet buyer being the only one to control the electronic image.

Availability of the good or service: the products presented on the La régence website and whose distance selling is governed by these general terms and conditions of sale, are available as long as the product concerned appears on the La regence website. In the event that, beyond our control, a chosen item is unavailable, a notification of unavailability will be sent to you by e-mail as soon as possible. You will then be able to change your choice if you wish.

ARTICLE 4: DURATION OF THE OFFER

The sales offers contained on the La regence site, governed by these general conditions of sale, are valid for any product contained on the site as long as it remains online.

ARTICLE 5: SALE PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS

The Sale Prices of the Products on the Platform are indicated in euros, all taxes included, but do not include delivery costs which will be indicated to the User during the purchase process, before the final validation of his Order. Delivery is free throughout the site for the following destinations: Metropolitan France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden.

For the rest of the world, shipping costs apply and taxes and customs duties are the responsibility of the buyer. Delivery is not possible to the United Kingdom. The Buyer pays for his Orders directly to La regence, according to the payment methods available on the Platform. Any Order from a Buyer who has not fully or partially paid a previous Order or with whom a payment dispute is currently being administered may be refused.

ARTICLE 6: BILLING

For each sale of Product, the Buyer will be able to access their invoice which will be:
- is included in the delivery package,
- either sent by email to the Buyer upon confirmation of his/her
Order,
- be sent by email upon request.
In the context of a delivery outside metropolitan France, the provisions provided for by the General Tax Code relating to VAT are applicable. The Order will then be subject to customs duties and possible taxes, for which Larégence will not be responsible or in charge of the terms.

ARTICLE 7: PERIOD AND METHODS OF WITHDRAWAL

For online purchases on the La régence website, the Buyer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the day of delivery of the Product to exercise his right of withdrawal without having to provide reasons or pay penalties. The return costs are the responsibility of La régence. Once the withdrawal request has been made, the Buyer has a maximum period of fourteen (14) calendar days to return the product(s) to the Seller. The jewelry must be unworn, in its original condition, and without any trace or mark. Jewelry that has been personalized or modified (engraving, resizing, etc.) is not eligible and cannot be returned in this context. Similarly, purchases made directly in store are not eligible for withdrawal.

ARTICLE 8: DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS

8.1. Delivery costs
Shipping costs are offered by La Régence for all deliveries to the following destinations: Metropolitan France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden. Shipping costs apply for destinations outside these areas for baskets under €1000, they are calculated before payment. Taxes and customs fees are the responsibility of the Buyer.

8.2. Delivery terms
The Buyer is informed that the Products can only be delivered to him if:
- the Seller offers delivery to the destination country indicated in the delivery address by the Buyer when placing the order.
Order ;
- the Buyer has a valid delivery address in the destination country indicated in the delivery address by the Buyer when placing his Order;
or, if he is able to recover the Products, by his own
means, at a Seller located in metropolitan France. The Products are delivered by the Seller to the address indicated by the Buyer when placing the Order.

8.3. Receipt of Products
The Buyer must check the condition of the Products upon receipt in order to confirm their conformity with the Order. When verification of the Product is possible at the time of delivery, the Buyer must immediately issue reservations on the condition of the package and the Product, to the carrier if the Product or its packaging has been damaged during transport.

8.4. Delay/non-delivery
In the event of delay, total or partial non-receipt of the Product(s) ordered, the Buyer is invited to contact La Régency from the agreed delivery date in order to deal with the problem.

8.5. Product returned to the Seller
If a Product is returned to the Seller for a reason such as “unclaimed” or “does not live at the address indicated”: the Buyer is reimbursed for the price of his Order (excluding the cost of returning the Product); and/or
– if the Buyer and the Seller agree, the Product will be reshipped to the Buyer with the corresponding costs being paid (product return costs and reshipping costs). After a period of one month without any news from the Buyer, the Products will no longer be shipped, without this giving rise to any right to reimbursement, exchange or compensation.

ARTICLE 9: PERSONAL INFORMATION

In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms, the buyer has a right of access and rectification at any time. In this case, he must send his request to:

With regard to the information communicated for payment by bank card, the seller guarantees to the buyer that it is not kept by him or by the La Regence website after the buyer has paid for his order, with the exception of the amount thereof.

ARTICLE 10: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, all texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on La regence are reserved under copyright and intellectual property law and for the entire world. As such and in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, only use for private use is authorized, subject to different or even more restrictive provisions of the intellectual property code. Any total or partial reproduction of the Laregence site is strictly prohibited.

Some products, such as software, are subject to personal and specific usage rights regulating copies, public distribution, and rental. You must comply with the general terms and conditions of sale for these products, and La Regence cannot be held responsible for any use that may be made of the products in this context.

ARTICLE 11: APPLICABLE LAW

This contract is subject to French law, and in particular to Articles L. 121-16 to L. 121-20 of the Consumer Code.

ARTICLE 12: SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES

In the event of a dispute, the buyer will contact the seller as a priority in order to agree on an amicable solution. However, it is specified that the search for an amicable solution does not interrupt the time limits for acting under warranty. The fact that the seller does not assert a breach of any of the buyer's obligations, governed by these general terms and conditions of sale, cannot be interpreted as a waiver for the future of the obligation in question, nor of the buyer's right to assert this breach at a later date. In the event of legal proceedings, only the LILLE court shall have jurisdiction.
